The ultimate winery experience as you saddle up for a beautiful guided trail ride through the vineyards of our picturesque Petaluma site, then be treated to a guided wine tasting.

Arrive to be greeted by the Hallmark Farm team and fitted with helmets and participate in a briefing all while getting to know the horses by the hitching rail. All horses are specifically selected based on your needs from seasoned steeds of the famous Hallmark Farm in Woodside owned by Megan Jones (Silver medal Olympian, Equestrian Hall of fame member, Dual Olympian, World championship Medalist in Aachen Germany) and husband James Deacon.

After the briefing and any questions you will saddle up and perform some basic maneuvers while supported by your trail guide, then set off for approximately 45 mins guided trail ride around a designated course. There will be opportunities to stop for photos and some magnificent hills and vineyard views along the way as your guide will provide commentary on the site and history of Petaluma.

After returning your steed to the hitching rail for some rest, photos and a brush down, you will progress to the cellar door for some welcome refreshments and a guided wine tasting. Experience a curated wine tasting from our brands Petaluma and Croser including our flagship range to understand the ethos of Petaluma and our obsession with distinguished vineyards and sourcing our fruit from the best regions. These elegant wines are classics in both style and regionality, and a must have in the cellar.

Finish the tasting on the spectacular deck in the warmer months or by the fire in the cooler months.

As well as making our own wines, we also import a range of European wines from a selected range of winemakers and vignerons aligned with similar philosophies. Our Cellier Twilight Sessions are a rare opportunity to taste and buy from our international portfolio, usually reserved for the finest restaurants and retailers across Australia.

This Autumn, we invite you to join us for a prestigious tasting of our wines paired with a collection of wines from some of the most famous regions of France.

All wines will be available for purchase on the night, with wine club discounts applicable across the board.

Paint & Sip Art Classes. Join a delightful paint and sip adventure set in a stunning venue at Magpie Springs Winery! Your teaching artist for this session is Kerry Mart from Creative Beginnings and has a wonderful way of bring out the inner artist in beginners in a step-by-step demonstration, making it easy for you to follow along with, sharing all her tips and tricks. Whether you're a complete beginner discovering your inner artist for the very first time or an accomplished artist just needing inspiration and like-minded company, you'll have fun learning how to paint your own unique masterpiece in our inclusive and encouraging environment. Painting is so much more fun together, so make it extra fun and gather your friends! Join us for a picnic at the multicoloured Tiers Vineyard!

One of the most beautiful times to visit the Adelaide Hills, and in particuarly the Piccadilly Valley, is in autumn for the changing of the season. Our vines go from green to gold to aulburn and it's all just very beautiful.

We have teamed up with French/ Kiwi makers of Crêpes; Friwi, to help picnic on the lawn next to the Tiers Vineyard. On offer, there will be traditional French sweet crêpes, as well as savoury buckwheat galettes and a bar full of wines from Tapanappa, DAOSA & Terre à Terre.
